Eclipse season kicked off on Saturday 30th April with the new moon in Taurus and Partial Solar Eclipse, arrives as a game changing solar eclipse.
This is followed by the next powerful total lunar eclipse and full moon in Scorpio (Blood Moon) which is fast approaching on Monday, 16th May.
Just as new moons are linked to new beginnings with expected and unexpected opportunities and full moons are tied to endings of cycles, so eclipses serve as celestial checkpoints to see where we stand in our life and what needs attention and balancing.
Eclipse helps illuminate our karmic path therefore it often can be a bit dramatic with its intense energies. Astrologically speaking, they speed up time: They open new doors and closing others, so we often find sudden shifts occurring during eclipses. Though the changes can be nerve wrecking, they can help us by speeding up the inevitable process.
So, if you've been dragging your feet, an eclipse will be sure to give you that extra push needed to take action. While the results can be shocking, remember that these lunations simply bring the inevitable to the front — these events were going to happen eventually no matter how much we try and resist the change (often due to our limitations). On the soul level we are shifting out of the old vibration, but the reason that often it is a painful change as our ego mind still wants to hold on to the old pattern, to the comfort zone and struggling to adjust to the new norm. For the ego mind, it is always a process to break away whilst the soul can shift in a split of a moment.

Eclipses are significant. Each year, there are between three and seven eclipses, which often occur in clusters. For example, 2021 began a series of eclipses upon the Taurus-Scorpio axis, which will last for nearly two years. This cycle started with a partial lunar eclipse on Friday, November 19, 2021, in Taurus, and ends on Saturday, October 28, 2023, in Taurus. So if you are currently going through a separation, divorce, changes in your business or any other major life event, you can expect for the cycle to be completed by late 2023, by the time you fully embrace the process and wonderfully evolve in to the new version of yourself. Whilst Taurus is a reliable earth sign, Scorpio is a passionate, deeply sensitive, emotional and intuitive water sign. Because Scorpio rules sex, death, and transformation, the eclipses this year ask us not only to evolve and gain a higher level of consciousness but to completely restructure our life and move further towards our destiny. This doesn't mean that you should try to become a new person. You're perfect just the way you are. But these eclipses will push us to put in the work to make our dreams come true. That includes recognizing which relationships are worth our loyalty and which ones we can finally work on letting go. Remember, if we don't end an unhealthy relationship, eclipses tend to do it for us. And, of course, that doesn't only apply to romantic relationships, but also jobs, career changes, friendships too.
As a result, 2022 may see major changes in your work and love life, but they're for the best no matter how the changes appear as they often comes with challenges but the challenge is necessary part of every new beginning and to transform your life into something more beautiful and meaningful.
